Making your Battery Box!!   The battery box for a 56 ford is in the passenger side floor of the truck.   I cut some plate and made three sides and a bottom.   I went out and bought a 900 CC Battery and measured how tall it was and added 8" (Aprox) eventually I'll have two of these along with a high out up alternator.

Anyway I built it with three sides because I left the back open so I could slide the batteries out without going through the top. (Roll back the carpeting)   I used angle iron for the support coming off the frame.   I made my box big enough to hold two batteries.

Also I will probably run cable off of the post out to the side of the truck so I can jump vehicles without having to roll back the carpet and hook up the cables.   This would also be a easy setup for re-charging the batteries.
